Vecabe’ produced these beautiful dental models in the 1920’s that were used for training purposes. Each teeth is fired enamel and is held by a pin system that aligns perfectly to make a correct bite. The model is silver plated and has signs of oxidation but when you take the teeth out you can see the original luster. The top of mouth flips in a horizontal position and it it held by the rear of the stand. Marked on top Wekabe these models were for the German market so you usually see the French Vecabe or Wekabe marking on top. This piece is serial 9294 and these unique training models are very scarce and hard to come by. The model is in excellent condition and is missing two teeth one top and one bottom.
