The Mediosan dates from 1931 and this device uses electrical current and varying intensity to help stimulate skin and hair among other body parts. There are similar devices by different names like Violet Ray but it is the same principle. The glass wands have a metal piece inside that create an electrical current and the you can dial up the stimulation on the machine as needed. Usually you can get a variety of wands for different ailments, hair growth, skin tightening etc. What really caught my eye of this unit is the beautiful paint job on the box—a silhouette of a man. The piece comes with two wands a smaller and larger piece. The larger has a tiny chip on . Most likely needs rewiring if you want to fire it up but makes an excellent display piece. Comes with cord to switch from 220 and 110 via the post on the lid. Made in Germany.
