This 1946 Saturn photo is quite beautiful not only because it is an early shot of Saturn but the press room made hand notations and crop notations on the front to get camera ready for the newspaper copy camera. The word Saturn is hand painted in a beautiful font along with painted crop notations. Stamped on back Feb 28 1946 along with notation of source taped to back and a snipe is seen underneath as well. Measures : 7” x 8.5” on silver gelatin paper.
