I’ve had the opportunity to acquire the iconic Eddie Adams Vietnam photo of General Nguyen’s famous execution. Most recently I sold one that was printed the day it was shot making it a significant historical record. This is from the same series . There are three photos that make the sequence and are rarely seen. Obviously editorial decisions focus on the most known but the fact that there are three in the sequence makes it intriguing and a must have for the serious collector. This press photo is on single weight silver gelatin print. The piece was sent via wire and printed the day it was shot Feb 1 1968. Measures 9 7/8” x 8” . Excellent condition with mild creasing and light age old stains.
