Acquired from the collection of a NASA JPL Astrophysics archive most of these photos focus on the sun and moon (C.1970-80). This photo was shot and printed by the scientist for study. What makes this collection unique is the informal and formal documentation that went on in his study. This particular image was a beautifully shot and color printed solar flare activity.
