The burning monk is an iconic and historical photo. Getting one that was used to publish this story is not an easy task. The photographer, Malcolm Browne, never ran prints of this work for sale. I have been looking for years and managed to get two different ones (the other one has sold ). This one is unique because it provides a sequence of the event. Photo is on silver gelatin print and is in very good condition. It was kept in a London Press room file. Piece is stamped on back and has a press snipe taped to the back. Measures 8” x 10”
