This dental phantom is used to study x-rays procedures. As you can imagine studying on humans can be harmful especially while repeating exposures. This piece was used in a government facility for training and now has been acquired by us. The leavers on top open and close the jaw for holding bite wings. It comes with a realistic tongue and originally comes with padding and a rubber mask to simulate flesh density. the inside of the skull is filled to stabilize the skull and also provide realistic weight to the head providing accurate x-rays of human bone and structure. Comes with display stand.
