The Macroscope reminds me of the early Agent days where I featured industrial lighting that had the right color and wear. The design is important and this has the color and feel of a Jieldé but with a machinist sensibility . Ring light is practical for lighting the magnifier and it can adjust to many positions. A good accent light to highlight a book or object—I like to stick these on the ground in a corner and activate the space. I gently cleaned this and has signs of wear and little oxidation spots throughout but that’s what gives it a soul. Measures: Upper lamp is 12.5” diameter and has max height of 20” base is 15” x 10” D
