The ship spot light is comprised of a very large vintage glass ship lens that has been adapted to a nice heavy base. The lens is fixed in a way that it free stands upright on the base and the light post accepts any size standard bulb. Shown and included is a nice large incandescent bulb that is dimmable via an in- line dimmer switch. The lens is held in an aluminum frame with nice sea weathering ‘patina’ and has an extra long cord. This ambient lamp is great for evenings to add soft lighting to a room creating a warm mood with a variance of output to suit your taste.
