This old (made in London) manual vibrator dates from 1903-04 with patents stamped on the disc plate. Invented by Jan Van Tuyl Daniels and patented under ‘Hand or Mechanical Vibrating Machines for Massaging purposes’. The device is hand operated by rotating the handle. In turn the disc on the end rotates and causes the soft rubber pad (was soft in 1903) to vibrate. You can vary the intensity by adjusting the wheel. It all depends if you like a soft touch or a bit more vibration—I guess it all depends on how much stress you're under. Just apply the vibrator where it hurts. Comes with a small simple stand for display.
