A rather curious device by Doctor J.O.Day that claims to heal cancer, birthmarks, moles, warts blemishes, and hemorrhoids among other ailments. This wooden box from the early 1920’s has a surrealistic feel with the concentric circles and a very heavy magnifier that has two lenses— a magnifying lens and a cobalt blue glass lens. The blue lens has an age old crack that runs along the plate and the clear magnifier is in good shape. The box comes with the magnifier, pamphlet that shows before and after results. A typed letter from Dr. J. O Day explaining the virtues of this device and how he has healed many patients with proper use. Comes as shown. Box measures 10” x 7” x 2.5”H and magnifier is 5” in diameter.
