Rare 1930's Opthalmophantome Eye Surgical Phantom

The Opthalmophantome, or eye phantom, is an antique surgical tool used to train ophthalmologists circa the 1900s. Pig eyes were placed in the eye sockets. The spring eye holder have these teeth like probes that clamp the optic nerve holding it nicely in place cradling the springs. This allows for some give and realistic use.
Rarely up for sale we have acquired one in excellent condition. Aluminum cast base and face with original baked textured silver paint and articulated eye holding devices. Signed label in rear tripod leg.
