In 1938, the British Government gave everyone, including babies, gas masks to protect them in case the Germans dropped poison gas bombs on Britain. The government had planned for tens of thousands of deaths in London alone. This example is in great N.O.S condition save for a few little holes that were covered neatly with some duct tape in the inside and are not noticeable. Comes with baby to help display this piece with full effect—can sit on a shelf or lay down. It also can be wall displayed since it has a sturdy metal stretcher type support.
