1950's Russian Aluminum Rocket Model Sadler SS-7

$0.00

I have acquired a stunning aluminum made model most likely wind tunnel from a military aviation school from the 1950’s. The piece is rather long measuring 16” without the base. These pieces were renamed by NATO Saddler SS-7. The bottom attachment is a thread in which is characteristic of the smaller wind tunnel models and given the precise machining of the piece transcends the typical desk model. The last photo shows another model Sadler SS-8 available separately. I have also added photos from Langley / NASA showing testing of some of these IRBMs in the smaller wind tunnel test chambers along with other similar models.
