1960's Atlantic Research Corporation Rocket Collection
1960's Atlantic Research Corporation Rocket Collection
This rare grouping of rockets from the Atlantic Research Corporation showcase models that were in production in conjunction with NASA to study payload re-entry into the atmosphere. Most notable is the Trailblazer II used to bring payload to and back from space and study reentry—quite a historic piece in NASA history. This piece is compete with all the fins intact. The other rockets are missing some fins but should be easily recreated / 3D printed but I decided to leave them as-is. The rockets are made of solid aluminum that has been machined. Definitely not a consumer model but an industry model that was sent to select clients. The three are sold as a unique set and compliment each other well as a group. The 2 larger rockets measure 12” long and are mounted on 5 1/4” bases. Sold as a set
