The old veterinary horse mouth device is made of heavy cast iron construction . Device is used to retract a horse mouth open for procedures and has a ratchet system to hold mouth open with mouth trays for teeth. Very nice age and color with an old leather strap that is well worn. Makers mark stamped along with made in the USA on side of bracket. I illustrated the device with some teeth I had (not included) but you get the idea and you can uses your own horse teeth set or a skull to really make a great display piece. Measures: 10” long
