This early lunar globe (and the only one ever produced by Crams) dates from 1969. The globe was produced until the early 70’s but what makes this one unique is that no landing sites are noted so it was produced before the lunar landing. The ones subsequently produced indicate landing sites and years (Apollo 11 and 12). These early globes are nice to see because much information is missing and still evolving during this time especially on the dark side of the moon. It is nice to see how the mapping process has come alone over the years with lunar exploration.

Globe is 10.5” in diameter and stands 11.5” H

comes with original metal stand and has two school tags on the top of the globe and base—very good vintage condition
