Interesting astronomy device used to demonstrate the planets and sun during the 1960’s. Most likely was a prototype made by a skilled astronomer. Inside lid has the operating instructions and is missing the power cord. The cord is a four prong connector and would be interesting to fire this up again. I have not tried but cleaned it up a little—the back has a glass black light rod that you would activate via a button on top. There is also a motion button. Very curious object. I did get a black light bulb to show how the colors fluorese as they would if the back lit up. Has signs of age and wear but the panel is a vibrant with striking color.
