Originally from what I have researched this manikin heads panel origins were that of a sunglasses display. Each head has little openings on the panel to place your eyewear. This panel however is unique in that it is cast in aluminum and polished. The old vintage ones were molded plastic and rather cheap and used for temporary display of eye wear. This piece has so much potential to be used as a decorative display or made into an artistic sculptural object. The little openings are not present but there is a very slight delineation if you choose to take it to this level. The panel has a wire so you can hang this piece on the wall but it also can lay flat on a table.
