This Duchampian object was made by someone in the 50’s-60’s to ‘trip out’ or just get in the hypnotic zone. The unit works and has 3 speeds that are controlled via a lever in the front of the unit. I think it works best on the faster setting but it has slow, medium, and high settings. The back has a toggle switch to turn it on and off. The front has a metal plate that is hand painted yellow and green and there is also a black and white spiral disc made of thicker card stock that fits by putting it in the center spindle . A very unique folk type object from the hypnosis era.
