Grandma's Hot Box! This reminds me of my childhood when my grandmother was chain smoking B&H menthols all day. This device is to demonstrate the ills of smoking to youngsters. Although it seems a little outdated because kids are mostly vaping? Anyways, it’s an entertaining device with so many possibilities.

How it works:

You put a filtered cigarette in the mouth of the woman and a filter pad behind the kid. You place the ashtray underneath her and light the cigarette. Next you close the lid and the ball pump lets her drag on the cigarette. Once she has filled the chamber with smoke you turn on the fan behind the boy and it draws the smoke out. Once clear the filter pad shows the blackened tar that was in the smoke. Yuk!

I had to give it a try and you can see it does a nice job. Also there was a pro repair on an upper corner . The repair is fused with acrylic adhesive that is used when making the box so aesthetically there is a line but it won’t break off. Not too distracting and it is shown in the photos.
