This sponge bob production mold was used to make toys by putting a molding rubber inside and then pulling out the cast piece. The inside of the mold is sharp with detail in contrast the outer metal shell is full of metal formations and warty distortions that add a nice grotesque edge to the piece. There are also noticeable remnants of the casting material on the outer mold that look great as a relic of the production process. Quite scare to surface this is a great historical collectible toy mold. Measures: 7” x 6” x 6”
