Beautiful professional 10” diameter planetarium from the early 1980’s. Made by a company called Goto for Viewlex. This full aluminum construction planetarium has the planet projectors on top and shares the same light source as the stars. All 950 of the stars on this planetarium are the most accurate for a unit this scale. This piece needs maintenance to bring it back to full operation. The unit ball has been outfit with a bright led that lights up the stars and look like the video I have posted below. The motors that turn the unit on axis need to be serviced along with other features. I talked to a professional planetarium collector and he said typically the bulbs inside are very dim and you need a dome structure to see the projections properly. I do have a contact for a repair person if interested on getting this in working order but as-is also makes a great object collectible with aesthetic and scientific function.
