This vintage glass mold was used in the manufacturing of condoms. The condom molds are lined up on a conveyor system and dipped in latex in thin layers then removed via water jet. This retired mold is in excellent condition with no chips or breaks and has some little flakes inside from the bolt that holds the whole system together. Seems to be made of several layers of wood and cork with a bolt that clamps it from the inside. Measures: 14.5” from base to top of mold —wood base has a 7” diameter.
