C.1915 Practical Alphabet Charts Set in Portfolio
A lost art of writing and elegant display of aspiration that was seen in every classroom in the turn of the century. This set is such a nice collection of basic cursive, which unfortunately isn’t really taught in schools anymore. This historical set is a good collection for the designer that loves fonts and appreciates the original source. I like this set because it is so versatile and can be hung individually, vertically, or horizontally, as was usually seen above the chalk board. The pieces are on a heavy card stock and have two punched holes on the top for easy hanging via small nails or wire hooks. The set doesn’t require framing but would be pretty amazing as a long vertical piece. Each section measures 8” H x 25.5” in the picture A-# is 25.5” x 80” there is also a cover card with two hands writing. Comes in original portfolio
The set is in really great condition for its age and has light natural wear a few cards have tiny notches in center cut < 1/4” —very minor but worth noting
