The cyanotype consists of imagery composed with a large piece of string. It is laid on the table in what Man Ray would call chance or the idea of something being created on its own will by laws that govern it—a type of auto artwork. I particularly like these types of works because each one is unique and the idea of throwing a string and repeating the process again is an impossible task. The work is on Arches watercolor 100% cotton rag paper and has a natural deckled edge and is framed in a charcoal gray wood frame measuring 38” x 55.5” framed is approximately 42” x 59”
