A large decollage consisting of two layers of insects prints one in yellow and black and one in black and silver. Each layered print is then hand torn to show the layer underneath akin to unearthed wall paper or an old billboard with prints that are overlaid and torn with time. The decollage process is a removal of material vs a collage is applying on top . The saturated colors and metallic paints play well with the composition offering a unique work of art. Heavy acrylic paint is hand applied and stenciled on the heavy weight drawing paper. The print is left with natural working edges that are irregular but lend to to overall look of this piece. Looks best float framed. Measures: 42” x 48”
