Large multilayered images on canvas with intermittent color washes of lush green, blues and some dark tones. The piece is made by layering images on top of each other via custom screens specific for this piece. Areas are hand toned, scraped, and rubbed giving it a unique look . On closer inspection this piece is made up of many little images—insects, and other buried imagery. A controlled chaos, as from far away it is rather calming and decorative, but operates in complementary opposites.
