A meditative piece of sorts for those with writer's block. A hard red that vibrates—a custom mixture of vibrant red with a hint of orange. The mantra is from an old font manual that was once discarded but I found value in this early font lesson. There is something beautiful about the form and the way it is laid out. Sometimes the subject is secondary to the color. The color is the driving force and it doesn’t matter sometimes what the subject is. Have you ever seen the Pat Hern nude Andy Warhol painted? There is something magical about the color and that is all that matters. The subject can come and go but color is the dominant driver of this work. Measures: 45” x 54”
